About
Built in NZ.
Flown since 2016.
Hyperflux is a New Zealand workshop making Li-Ion FPV packs from genuine Reliance RS50 cells — assembled and discharge-tested on the bench before they ship.
The story
It started at the end of a four-minute flight.
We have been building, racing, and crashing in the New Zealand RC and FPV scene since 2016. For years every session ended the same way: packs dead, day over, wallet lighter. LiPos that sagged after thirty cycles, and “high-capacity” imports that weighed like bricks and flew like them.
So we built the battery we actually wanted. High-capacity lithium-ion packs with genuinely high current delivery — designed, assembled, and bench-tested in New Zealand by people who fly what they build.
No inflated markups. No inflated specs. Every number we publish is on the official cell datasheet, and every pack is discharge-tested before it leaves the bench.

NZ workshop
Assembled here, not boxed offshore.
Packs are built in our New Zealand workshop from matched 21700 cells — not drop-shipped generics. Tight quality control, honest weights, and a pack that is meant to last more cycles, not replacement cycles. Custom series/parallel layouts go through the same bench as the Black Series range.

Genuine Reliance RS50. Never relabeled.
Every Black Series pack and every loose cell we sell is a genuine Reliance INR21700-RS50: 5000 mAh, 3.6 V nominal, 70 A continuous / 140 A burst, cutoff 2.5 V. Direct-sourced — not a rewrap of a lower-spec cell. The same cell is in the 4S 5000mAh Li-Ion pack, the 6S 5000mAh Li-Ion pack, and sold per cell for custom builds.
Bench testing
Discharge-tested before it ships.
We do not ship on wrapper ratings. Each pack is checked for sustained 70 A discharge (140 A on 2P), burst behaviour, and thermal stability on the bench. If a pack does not hold the numbers on the datasheet, it does not leave the workshop.
