We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked return window on all products. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping (3–5 business days) is free on all orders over $50, otherwise a flat $7.99. All orders include a tracking number.

What does the HyperFlux warranty cover?

All HyperFlux products come with a 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, hardware failures, and material failures under normal use. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, loss, or cosmetic wear. Register your product at registration.hyperflux.co within 30 days of purchase to activate your warranty.

Should I choose the 4S or 6S Black Series?

It comes down to your build's voltage. The 4S (14.4V nominal, 72Wh) suits 4S FPV and lighter robotics setups, while the 6S (21.6V nominal, 108Wh) carries 50% more energy for longer flights on demanding 6S platforms. Both share the same 5000mAh capacity and 70A continuous / 140A burst (5s) output.

How should I charge and store my packs?

Accepted Answer

Charge on a balance charger at 1C (5A) for everyday use; higher rates are fine occasionally if your charger and leads are rated for it. For storage longer than a few days, keep packs at storage charge (around 3.8V per cell) in a cool, dry place and a LiPo-safe bag. Never charge a hot, swollen, or damaged pack.

What discharge can the Black Series actually deliver?

Every Black Series 1P pack is rated for 70A continuous and 140A burst (5-second pulse) — the same numbers published on the official Reliance RS50 datasheet, not marketing estimates. Our 2P packs double that to 140A continuous / 280A burst. High-drain tabless cells with low internal resistance hold voltage steady at cruise, and staying within these limits keeps the pack cool and protects cycle life. How does cold weather affect performance?

Lithium-ion packs lose some capacity and punch in the cold. For best results, keep packs above 15°C before a hard discharge and avoid charging below 0°C. Performance returns to normal once the pack warms back up.

Are your Reliance RS50 cells genuine, or relabeled?

Every cell we sell and build into our packs is a genuine Reliance INR21700-RS50, sourced directly — never relabeled or rebranded from a lower-spec cell. If you're buying loose cells for your own builds, what's on the wrapper is what you get: 5000mAh, 3.6V nominal, 70A continuous, 140A burst (5s). The official manufacturer datasheet is downloadable from every battery product page, so you can check our numbers against the source.

Can I get more flight time without losing power?

Yes — our 2P packs (2S2P, 4S2P) pair cells in parallel to double capacity to 10000mAh while raising continuous discharge to 140A and burst to 280A (5s), so you get longer flight time without any drop in punch. Need a capacity or voltage combination we don't stock? Use our custom battery request form and we'll build it to spec.

How much flight time will I actually get?

It depends on your build's weight and cruise throttle, but as a guide: an efficient 7-inch long-range quad on the 6S1P typically flies 15–25 minutes, and a 4S cruiser on the 4S1P sees 10–20 — where a typical 1300–1500mAh LiPo gives 4–6 minutes. Lithium-ion carries over 50% more energy per gram than LiPo, so the harder you optimise for cruise, the bigger the gain. Racing and hard 1P freestyle are the exception: for constant full-throttle punch, stay on LiPo or step up to our 2P packs.

How many cycles will a pack last, and what does that mean for cost?

The Reliance RS50 cells in every pack are rated on the manufacturer datasheet to hold 80%+ capacity after 500 charge cycles — versus roughly 100 hard cycles from a typical LiPo. Do the maths on a 4S1P: $99 over 500 flights is about 20 cents per flight, and each flight is two to three times longer than the LiPo it replaces. A cheaper pack that sags after a season isn't cheaper.
